Changes to small sizes

It goes without saying the smaller the horse or pony, does not mean smaller problems or issues. Sizing on the smaller end of the scale can be tricky. To make sure we are covering as many of our little guys and gals as possible, we have brought back the 000 size.

Our experience in remote sizing for our customers with the M0, M00, M1, M2 and M3 has not been as successful as we would have liked it to be. We have been brainstorming the best solution for this issue. What it comes down to is, there is nothing better than in-person sizing. This is a service Scoot Boot is unable to provide. Your ability to size in-person is invaluable to your customer. We have re-done the sizing chart starting from size 000. Please feel free to add it to your website. You will notice that the M0, M00, M1, M2 and M3 are no longer on the chart. This is where our stockist locator comes to the rescue for customers to arrange an in-person sizing appointment with you. Click here to access the new sizing chart.

Updated brochures

Cutting down the waste and cutting down the confusion. We have consolidated the four brochures that are included in our Scoot Boot packs into two; a fitting guide and care instructions. Simplifying the number of brochures your customers pull out when receiving their new boots will help them see the most relevant and pertinent information.

Identifying your unique selling proposition (USP)

Your unique selling proposition (USP) is what sets you apart from your competitors, and draws customers in need of what you have to offer to your business.

Determine your USP by asking yourself three simple questions.

Which aspects do I often mention when describing my business to others?

Noting these aspects down in dot points is a great start.

Build upon this with:

What skills and knowledge do I have? These might be recognised qualifications or work and life experiences.

The simplest question to drill down on your USP is:

What services do I offer?

This is where we want to help. Our Stockist Locator offers you a unique opportunity to advertise your USP with the services you have to offer. From in-person sizing to equine health care and everything in between.

We will soon be launching our “filter by service” option for customers using our stockist locator. This means a customer in need of a particular service in their area can search by that service only. We want you to reap the benefits of advertising your services and be seen for all that you can offer.

Do not go unseen by a customer needing what you have to offer. Let us know what services you are offering.

Front Strap pack changes

With the switch over to knob hooks from the old rivets, there is no longer the need to replace any of the hardware when changing the front straps. As you know, our boots come with spare hardware for the customer. To help us cut down on wastage we have eliminated the knob hooks from our front strap packs. This will also reduce confusion for the customer as often they think they need to replace their hardware when changing their front straps.
